The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Tabitha Thach is a dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience in diverse educational settings, including roles as an elementary general education teacher, special education teacher at both elementary and junior high levels, junior high reading teacher, and elementary reading specialist. In addition to her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, she has a Master of Arts in Reading. Recently, Tabitha furthered her expertise by completing the University of Florida’s Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia and became certified as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI). In addition to her full-time teaching commitments, Tabitha serves as the Vice President of The Reading League Idaho, advocating for enhanced literacy outcomes and recognizing the profound impact literacy can have in changing lives.
