Social Studies Teacher
Currently teach middle school social studies and serve as the department chair. I have a passion for politics as well which has led me to become more involved in things like Lobby Day. I serve on the IEA Board of Directors for Region 5 and I am also the Region 5 President. In my limited free time I LOVE to collect Pyrex and other antiques. My home is quickly starting to look like an antiques shop. I am also an avid reader. Keep me away from book stores y'all. And I love to cook!
Finally, I am a mother of 2 college aged kids. Eric is currently getting a BS in Software Engineering and Emily is headed to art school in the near future. It is really weird being a mother to adults. My husband and I have been married for 25 years. We also have 3 fur babies that keep us busy.
