IEA Board, GR/PACE, CTL
Special Education Teacher
Caldwell, Idaho
I have been a high school special education teacher for over a decade in the Vallivue School District and am an avid union activist. I sit on the IEA Board of Directors, IEA budget and awards committees, and GR/PACE committee. I am a trainer for the Center for Teaching and Learning, local union president, regional president, and Western Regional Chair for the NEA REC. In my local, I have been a building rep, targeted local, strategic planning, negotiations team, and Back-to-School fair committee.  I enjoy attending IEA Delegate Assembly and NEA Representative Assembly to share our collective voice.  In my free time (is there such a thing??) I enjoy adventuring, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Most of the time, I can be found delving into state-level politics and advocating for the schools we all deserve.
