You still have the option to participate in Summer Institute through our Online Only classes that will be held the first two days of Summer Institute, July 24 & 25. The bus from southern Idaho is also sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list for the bus or in-person attendance, contact Katye Harris - kharris@idahoea.org.

The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Chase James

Hey all. I am Chase James. This Spring I finished my 6th year of teaching. I am a social studies teacher at Blackfoot High School. I am my local's co-president. Outside of school and the association, I have a wife and two kids, ages two and three. I bowl on a league, play disc golf in my free-time, and generally love being outdoors. I have recently gotten into wake surfing, which has been a ton of fun. I was a facilitator for the Eastern Idaho Sparks, which was my first time being a presenter, and I look forward to growing as a presenter this summer at Summer Institute.
