I have been teaching in Idaho for 33 years, 15 years in Idaho Falls and 18 in Blackfoot. I have a Master's Degree in Social Studies with an emphasis in Technology. I teach Gifted and Talented classes, two of which have a Social Studies emphasis, as well as Broadcasting Technology classes for the Blackfoot School District. I have been on the Blackfoot Education Association's Board of Directors for the past ten years, eight of which as the secretary and two as the co-president. I am looking forward to sharing some of my interests and passions with you and going on an adventure of learning with you at the 2024 Summer Institute.

My hobbies include BSA Scouting and all of the fun outdoors adventures it brings such as hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and camping. I enjoy photography and videography as well as embroidery and sewing. My husband and I enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, biking and traveling. I have been an National History Day coach for 30 years and I love historical research. I am a Native Idahoan who grew up in Star, Idaho and am a proud product of Idaho's public school system.
