2024 IEA Summer Institute

The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Solid student relationships can alleviate many classroom discipline issues, but how do we create those?

This session will explore building relationships with students - even those who are especially challenging. We will look at what the teacher brings to the table, and how to use strengths and weaknesses to connect with students.

Participants will leave with some solid strategies for self-reflection and for connecting with students.

Targeted to K-12.
