The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

We all have students who identify as LGBTQ+ in our classroom whether we realize it or not.

In this session, we will develop a better understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, learn how to support students in the LGBTQ+ community and reflect on our own practices within our classroom.

We need to ensure we are creating a safe place for all students to thrive.
