2024 IEA Summer Institute

The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Dyslexia: It's All in the MIND - 90 Min

This training is designed for educators who already have a basic understanding of the characteristics of dyslexia and the struggles these students face in school.

Participants will learn about the MIND strengths of Dyslexia and how they can be utilized in the classroom to help build the students' self-esteem and foster success. Participants will also be provided with tools to further develop their understanding of the dyslexic mind as well as accommodations to help level the playing field for these students.

Targeted to K-12.
