2024 IEA Summer Institute

The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Adventures in Mathematics - Half Day

Participants will experience the Mathematical Practices in action using a variety of resources that can be integrated into any program. The resources can be used in a number of ways and will enhance your current curriculum.

Participants will:
  • gain a deeper understanding of Mathematical Practices;
  • be able to utilize the resources with their students;
  • obtain strategies that can increase student engagement and interaction around mathematical practices.

Targeted to Elementary with emphasis on Grades 3-5.
