The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

What is Advanced Professional Endorsement and How to Achieve It - Full Day

Idaho teacher compensation law changed in 2020 and established an Advanced Professional step on the career ladder. There are, however, more accountability requirements that go with this. This course walks participants through what is required to be considered Advanced Professional for movement on the state career ladder and provides strategies for how to advocate for themselves during the evaluation process.

Targeted for K-12.
