2024 IEA Summer Institute

The theme for this year’s IEA Summer Institute is "Adventure Awaits!" You can expect excitement and opportunities for growth and exploration as you learn, network with colleagues and reconnect with friends. This event will take place in-person at Lewis - Clark State College in Lewiston from July 24th to 27th, 2024. For those unable to attend physically, there will be online strands available on July 24th and 25th.

Discussion Awaits! Socratic Seminars for Every Classroom - Half Day

Socratic Seminars are one of the best activities to get students reading, writing, analyzing, and discussing in any content area. Participants will learn about it and practice four different ways to use in Socratic discussions for greater student engagement.

Targeted for Secondary with possibility of modification to lower grades.
