Come play and get inspired! Create historians in your classes. Use hands-on experiences with primary and secondary sources, artifacts and simulations to train and inspire your students to think historically. Everything from actual artifacts to an Egyptian sarcophagus, creating LockBox experiences (hands-on escape rooms) and Civil War letters or will it be a speech by Winston Churchill? These get students asking meaningful questions, thinking critically, making observations and inferences, and wanting more!

You will have the opportunity to try out several of these simulations yourself, specifically for the World History I and US History classrooms, but these techniques can be adapted for many subjects. Learn how easy--and hard--it can be to create them, but, boy are they worth it! These are experiences your students will never forget. Let's turn those history "haters" into enthusiastic historians!

Targeted for Secondary Educators.
